Eagle Accounts Group would get a 0 stars if that were possible! People beware! The Johnson County Clerks office uses them for collections. I owed a large restitution amount that has been paid in full directly to the clerk, and yesterday I get a letter from Eagle stating that I owe them over $7K. I called the JC clerks office just so they know that Eagle is trying to collect money from people that are still on probation (which they can't until probation has ended) and even more disturbing from people who have paid their balances in full to the clerk. Sounds like a scam to me? The clerk stated that Eagle is doing this on their own and not from the JC clerks direction. I have a hearing in two weeks to have my probation ended early and I will be letting the judge know and giving him a copy of Eagle's fraudulent collection letter. Next, I will be filling a complaint with the BBB, as well as whatever collection company associations I can find. Eagle Accounts Group tried to collect money that was not owed to them from the wrong person. I called Eagle and left a message for the owner (Chet Klene) but I'm sure I won't hear back.
