Inspiring Minds enables people in the community and colleges to be matched directly with a single or small group of students in the Providence schools to tutor and mentor by engaging in activities in the classroom or at lunch settings. Inspiring Minds is very supportive with an initial orientation, monthly newsletters and additional workshops including literacy and math. I've found this a very rewarding volunteer experience the past 2 years and know there will be even more need for helpers when schools reopen.
