I am only giving a 2 star because of my sales person, Dianne Trask. She was great in working with me to find what I wanted. When I purchased my car, I was not told that the warranty of the vehicle goes back to manufactured date. I had an issue with my shift not working, brought to be fixed thinking it was in warranty still, found out it was not. But it was covered under extended warranty. after that there was a recall on that same problem. My cargo rail on the drivers side, had a spot that was peeling and also finding out that it was out of warranty. I really think it was sold to me with that peeling, because i had only had the vehicle maybe a year. The last straw was when i had my check engine light come on and my onstar sent me an email stating it was a problem with my emission system to being to service. I do, thinking it is covered under the extended warranty i had purchased when I bought the used vehicle and was told I had 5 years, 80000 miles, from the end of warranty. Which would have been 2024 or 80000 miles. With that being said, That was not how it happened!!!!! That extended warranty was from installation of the vehicle , 2017 with 5 years, ending 2022. I was so mislead and i am so disappointed Gerry Lane does not budge a bit.. All i got was apologies.. Apologies do not cover the warranty or repairs on my vehicle. Service experience has not been the best for me. I will never purchase another vehicle from Gerry Lane. Gerry lane has contacted me and is trying to resolve the warranty issue. LDS will only let them extend the warranty one more year. S my warranty now will go to probably 6/2024 or 80,000 miles. We will re evaluate at the end of the extension of the warranty..

I decided to give the service dept at Gerry Lane a second chance after they gave me the run around with my AC a year ago. It was a bad decision. My xt5 SUV had been making a humming sound that was progressively getting louder. I took to GL and they told me that I needed 4 new tires immediately. That didn't set right with me as I had just had the tires looked at by professionals. They also told me that I absolutely did not have a wheel bearing problem. I felt rushed and like they were not being completely detailed in their diagnosis. I decided to take the car to another mechanic. The car was then looked at by 4 additional mechanics who specialize in tires. All of the mechanics agreed that I had a bad wheel bearing in the back right tire. They even brought me out to the car on the stand and let me feel the vibration on the plate by the affected tire. The wheel bearing was replaced and the noise is now gone. They also all agreed that my tires did not need replacing. I called the Service Manager Brett back at Gerry Lane to ask for my diagnostic fee back and he refused. They cannot admit mistakes and their mechanics are not detailed.
