We deeply apologize you were not satisfied with our services at Xirepair. It is our goal to make sure everyone is taken care of in the best way possible. Our team members do not price things based on their personal interest nor based on how valuable their time is. We have standard pricing and procedures for everything we do. We are not sure if there was a miss communication but our fee has never been $175 but it is $125 for data recovery. We apologize if there was any miscommunication or mistake from our behalf. We use advance data recovery software which charges us per device we use, and it allows us to transfer everything in one try, and ensure nothing failed to transfer. We have had ton of issues in the past with smart switch where customer had to make more than 1 trip to our store to transfer everything they need. We have been in business for 5+ years, and have recovered data for customers in the law enforcements, lawyers, government officials, and big corporations. Our goal is to get the job done the first try and make sure our customers data are transferred successfully. As far as customer seating issue, we do understand and it is a huge inconvenience to not have lobby seatings. We have removed them in 2020 during the pandemic, and when we did bring back the seatings, we had ton of issues. We get 40+ visitors a day at our stores, with it being a small lobby it becomes extremely crowded during operation hours. Many customers did not feel comfortable standing or waiting in crowded areas so we removed them as many of our customers suggested. Many customers drop their device off then go run errands, wait at any of the restaurants in the shopping center, or wait in the car until their device is ready. As a small business we make decisions based on what our customers need and what they suggest. We hope you give us another chance and let us take care of your tech need. We appreciate your criticism, it helps us improve and we learn from our customers how their experience is at our stores.

It was my 1st time in and I will not be back. The only reason why I went here is because my father recommended the place. I spoke with the representative Ray about my damaged phone. He didn't really let me talk, just talked over me the whole time and said a lot of things that were irrelevant to what I needed. What really got me is when I told him that my father recommended me to come here because he was a frequent customer, it went in one ear and came out the other. Ray kept trying to eye gouge me on prices. First, he said that it would be a $175 to gut my phone, plug it into the computer, and then transfer the information from the computer to my new phone, said that's labor cost. I left and came back with a better suggestion. My phone is a Samsung and has smart switch. So I talked to Ray again and explained that instead of doing the labor of gutting and transferring to the computer, he can instead gut the phone, put it inside a temporary phone and smart switch the information. Smart switch is the middle link and should be less labor. He still wanted to charge me $175, almost like he was charging me for his time and interest. I was absolutely disgusted at the lack of reasonability and willingness to assist. I went to U Break It, We Fix It in Auburn and they only charge me $49 to do the smart switch, the same exact thing Ray wanted to charge me unreasonably $175 for. Also there were no chairs in the facility. Only the staff had them.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I went in to get my USB connection fixed. They replaced it, but the part was the USB, SIM Card Holder, and the antennae for the phone. Got my phone, but I couldn't call or look up any information, as it would not connect to the cell towers. Went back and told them the problem. They told me that they fixed it, and in their building, it worked. A couple of days later, I try to make a call while in town on the interstate, couldn't connect. Go back, and they tell me it's the sim card. Go to Verizon, and get a new sim. Still not working. Go back AGAIN, and tell them the problems, but they tell me that they can't replicate the issue within 20 feet of their building. I have a phone that I usually can't use, unless there is a near perfect signal or wifi, but these people can't figure out how to fix an antennae. I've told them that I have my phone and my wife's phone, hand in hand, hers will work and mine won't. I've told them where it's not working, but they won't go to those areas to replicate the issue. Now I have to go to another company, drop another $100 to actually get my phone fixed. Please don't waste your time with this company.
