I contacted dude bought a pair of pants from him around the 3rd week of October and left them so he could hem them due to me going out of town. He never measured me (thought that was weird) but assured me it would get done. I picked them up the following week and when I looked at them I quickly noticed that they were NOT hemmed, nothing was done! I went to the shop but he wasn't there during business hours and I waited but still didn't see him. Long story short, he gave me some lame excuse and ended up telling me I couldn't get my money back! I will NEVER buy or take anything to this dude again and will not recommend anyone his services. This was so unprofessional and I'm out of money AND my pants are still not hemmed!

We want to assure you that our team is taking actions to resolve the issues from arising like this. To avoid all mentioned above, one of the processes we have in place is for our customers to setup appointments and not walk in unexpected so our they can receive our undivided attention they deserve. This also insures we can have the proper paperwork in place prior to your visit to include: the wedding date, budget, the groomsmens names, and expectations for both parties so everything goes as smooth as possible and to assure there is not miscommunication. We also have blackout days and times that we cannot do consultations as it our sales days that we do our day-to-day business to include Fridays and Saturdays. While we often try to accommodate walk-ins on those days, we prefer customers make appointments by calling the store and not text. My fiancé found Suit Yourself and we were both very excited to use a black owned business to help w/the groom & groomsmen look for September wedding. Travis, the owner is very nice; however, we were not treated well. We visited his store back in March just to get a vibe & he gave great suggestions. Being that it was a little early, he recommended we come back when it was closer to our wedding date. We went back in May and my fiancé picked out his look. Travis was supposed to txt us info so the groomsmen can add their measurements & that took weeks, until I called and suggested taking our business elsewhere. We returned, the 2nd week of June and basically had to explain what we wanted all over again, while Travis took "notes" on a random sheet of paper. Once the same consultation was over, he assured we'd receive info via txt/email to start making payments. It is now the last week of June and we still haven't received anything. It's unfortunate b/c we really wanted to support his business but our wedding is 95 days away and there's no time to waste! We liked Travis as a person but he seriously needs more help & a better system of documenting his consultations. We also were able to find the same jacket he quoted at $1200 online for half the price, so thanks for forcing us to do your job Travis!! In addition, we've found another location that has gone above and beyond to ensure our special day is done the right way. #VeryDisappointing

Quality products with EXCELLENT customer service. The owner Travis Shuler takes pride in making sure that his customers feel good about the way they will look in the clothes that are purchased. If he doesn't have an item in stock, he can definitely order it or even have it customized specifically for the customer.
