If I could give this spot a 3.5 that would be my initial rating. It's not a 3, yet not quite a 4. This was our first time at Park Lane Tavern, the decor was lovely, however the restaurant was hot and smelled a little like old grease. It also didn't feel like the cleanest restaurant in the world, the table we sat at was a bit sticky. When it's 87 out you don't really want to sit in a warm stuffy building, maybe they were having AC problems, so I can't hold that too much against them. That aside we did enjoy our lunch. The alpine chicken sandwich was delicious. The French dip itself was good, but the au jus was flavorless. The fries left a little to be desired, but the haddock was tasty. The service was sub par, especially considering the restaurant wasn't too busy. Prices were fair for portion size. All in all I would give this spot another try.
The perfect little hangout after a fulfilling day of work. My friends and I come here after exam days at the local university. The Bacon Stuffed Gouda Burger is my go to and if you try it, you'll see why!
Hands down one of my top 3 favorite places to go for drinks and dinner. The food is always out quick and amazing. The staff have always been friendly and awesome. The drink menu is also phenomenal. Lots of choices for whatever your drink of choice. You will not be disappointed by their food menu either. Highly recommend the pretzel sticks.
Heard a lot about this place from the locals in the area. It's a 2.5 star for taste and ambience. Not much more to say.
