Very very bad customer service..called up for a quote and got such sarcastic responses and does not deserve a single star..wish they had negative stars I could rate them!! :(
Its hard to put such an important review into a short paragraph of words that will help you make such a big decision in your life but here goes! My husband and I were very close to signing a contract with another builder and at the last minute decided to call Jerry back and do another look and we are forever thankful. One of the most important things you need to have with someone that is building your home is trust. Trusting that he will use the right materials because you have absolutely no idea whats what. Trusting that hes not totally ripping you off. Trusting that hell make the right decisions and in return tell you when youre not. You will 100% get all of that and more with Jerry. Hes not a sales guy and you need to know that right off the bat. Hes not going to tell you that you can get everything you want (which others did), in fact hes going to say no, which is what we needed given our budget constraints and always kept us on track. Hes an engineer, and with that builds beautiful homes using the best materials. Throughout the process- every vendor, contractor, attorneys etc all told us he was the best decision we made and he definitely proved that to us. We built in a new town then hes used to and he did everything to ensure we had all the right permits, approvals etc. Jerry told us it would take 5-6 months to build. People told us repeatedly, that will never happen, assume it will take a year. What do you know, we were in the house in less than 5 months, which ended up saving us so much money on the interest for the construction loan. No matter what time of day or whats going on, Jerry will be there to answer your calls or text. He is always on site and respectful of neighbors, etc, always makes sure that the contractors are doing the same. He and his guys work tirelessly to ensure they stay on track and in return expects you to do the same when making selections, which is only fair. Jesse - who also works with Jerry - is awesome and always on site to help move things along. He was very helpful through the process and it was a pleasure working with him. Our home is everything we wanted and more. Its a time consuming process and not for everyone, but if you want something specific and have a vision in mind, Premier Design, Jerry and Jesse will bring it to life and build you the best home possible!
Gerry is very knowledgeable and cares about the clients. He runs a tight ship which benefits his customers in the end. His homes are beautiful and crafted expertly and with quality.
I don't know the zoning rules on every township in New Jersey. Your question of 'which towns in NJ can I build a house that allow a kitchen in a basement' is not something that anyone would know without reading the zoning rules for a particular town. I gave you the answer to the towns I am familiar with so sorry that is'nt acceptable to you that I wouldn't have that info off the top of my head. You should probably figure out where you want to live first, then hire an architect or read the township zoning ordinances yourself for the town that you are interested in. I dont think that was really worthy of leaving me one star for lack of knowing the zoning rules for every township. Good luck.
