Hi Sophie We are terribly sorry that there had been a confusion on you patch test times. Patch tests before treatment's are an insurance policy. Which I'm sure you understand is out if our control. Regards The Vintage Avenue Team x

Absolutely shocking. I messaged 3 times over the space of a few weeks to confirm when I would be coming in for a patch test prior to my appointment. When I arrived at 6:45pm the salon was closed, despite me confirming that afternoon that they closed at 7pm. I had been messaging the salon who said I needed to come in that day, 48 hours before my appointment, and I confirmed I would be in later. It is an hour round trip for me to get to the salon which I was happy to do after reading all the positive reviews. Ended up as a total waste of my time and petrol, not to mention I won't get my treatment because of the 48 hour window for the patch test and as I had specifically booked before going away for the weekend. Beyond infuriating - terrible terrible service.
The food good, prices bad! 8 for 4 slices of toast! Dirty & dusty, waiting staff very nice, except for the lady who seemed to be the boss was curt, rude & obnoxious!
Good afternoon we are so happy you are pleased with the results and our amazing Sophie. Thank you for review. Look forward to seeing you soon x

Been looking for a local hairdressers and so happy I chose here. I had Sophie who is so lovely and also very professional. On my consultation and again the day of my appointment she ran through everything. My hair which was all different colours after failed attempts to go from balayage to a full head of blonde highlights this had previously resulted in a brassy blonde and brown mess. My hair was saved and transformed to blonde multi tonal highlights with no sign of a dark line. Have recommended to my friends. Thank you Im so happy!!
Hi Laura, As discussed this morning, our staff are not equipped to remove Chinese nails and we didn't want to risk damaging your nails or hurting you by forcing them off without the correct tools. We did offer you a slot later today if you'd be able to get them removed from the place you got them put on. We will add this info on to our booking confirmation to avoid this happening again, however where you got your Chinese nails put on should have advised you that you need to have them removed with a specialist tool that only certain places are trained to use. As we do not do Chinese nails, we do not advise on the subject as it's not within our remit to do so. Thanks, The Vintage Avenue Team
