So far my daughters house is not finished, but they signed a contract and are making payments on the interest and they are hit with out of pocket cost constantly. For example they had to take down a neighbors mailbox to get in a load of materials and they charged $300.00 to my daughter for doing that!! Not her fault they could not have the truck come down a driveway. They scraped the crushed asphalt off the drive way and are not putting it back , instead they charged her for that! Mud rolled into a neighbors yard so they spread hay that she bought and charged her for that! Stay tuned I am sure there is more $$$$ to come from her bank account!

We love our home that Southland built for us. The entire process was a great experience. We felt like a "friend" was building our house. Our Project Manager was great about explaining the processes and educating us on how and why certain materials were being used. In the end, we got exactly the home we wanted. It is a very well built house and we have no issues at all. It's energy efficient, our utility bills have been way lower than we expected. If we were to build again we would absolutely have Southland build another house for us.

Our Custom Southland Home won't be finished till the first of the year. I didn't want to wait that long to acknowledge Jodi. She was outstanding in her knowledge and patience with my wife and I as we fumble through our first custom home build. She is an asset to Southland Custom Homes.

Never do business with Todd. We built a house with them a while back. Todd never responds to anything, workers disappear for weeks at a time. We literally had a punch list and nothing else to do on our home and waited 2 months on him to get it done. Pathetic...
