Where to even begin? If you want to liquidate your estate, DO NOT GO with this thoroughly unprofessional, disorganized, exceedingly rude, borderline-manic lady. She reminds me of one of those crazy people who just try super hard to sound nice and try to hide their mean, demented side--but are just ready to explode any minute. If you are into estate sale shopping like I am, AVOID. It is not worth the hassle of begging for every other thing to be priced or the rude ordeal you'd most likely suffer. I went on the 2nd day of an estate sale run by Dominique Kendall, it was a total mess. Most thing weren't priced, a large staff comprising of at least 7 (that I counted) had no handle on the sale--except for two of her staff who were nice and priced items for people. Most of the other staff acted as if asking for pricing was like asking them some rude personal questions, as if they were doing us some great favor by telling us the prices. Geeze. I go to a LOT of estate sales every weekend in Houston metro area which are much more heavily trafficked were the staff is more informed, courteous and professional. I was interested in a lot of items and so I asked one of the staff if they could start a ticket for me. I ended up getting A LOT of small things as well as some furniture. The pricing was haphazard. Most of the things didn't have prices on them. Some cheapo things were overpriced while some very cool things were underpriced. Bad for the people who want to get the most value for their estate. Nevertheless, I got some great deals. When we were getting rung up for our purchases (which amounted to nearly $400), there was one item on the bill that I didn't recognize. The $10 charge was for a kitchen item and I politely asked what it was for. She *very* rudely said that I had to pay for it regardless and that they are not in the business of telling me what I was purchasing. o_O I then politely said that I just wanted to know what I was paying for because I had not purchased anything from the kitchen. At that point of time, she started getting loud and threatened to cancel the entire sale. And the old man who was cashier was just seething as if I had just gravely insulted them. I was too stunned to say anything for a moment. She'd lose a $400 sale just because I dared to ask what one of the charges was for??? Wow, talk about being an unprofessional idiot. Thankfully my husband defused the situation saying there was no need to cancel it and that the charge might have been a tin can from the garage that might have been mistakenly written down as a kitchen item. Whatever. At this point I just wanted to get out of there. It wasn't like there was some line of people waiting to be rung up. We were the only ones being rung up, so it wasn't like she was cracking under some pressure of dealing with crowds. We finished paying and started taking out some of the furniture and other things. While doing that, I hear them talking trash about us right as we are walking around picking up the things. Wow. I also noticed right about the same time a very old, small white lady sneaking some brooches, earrings and some small stuff into her bag. The security there didn't even notice it and I decided to keep quiet after all the nonsense that we'd just endured. Last thing I wanted to see was some octogenarian being accosted by this loony woman. But seriously--do you really want someone like this unprofessional, disorganized and borderline crazy person running your estate sale, where most things don't get prices and pilfering is so easily done? I know I don't. I am telling all my friends, family and acquaintances to stay far, far away from Dominique Kendall Estate Sales.

Oh my gosh, Dominique Kendall is awesome! After the death of our aunt, we were in need of someone to provide estate sale services. We had been given one name and invited this lady/company out. After reading the contract and asking questions red flags were flying. As we researched online information and reviews about this lady and the company, we found our concerns were validated by many similar complaints. We began searching for another estate sale provider and we found positive experiences from people who dealt with Dominique Kendall so we contacted her and set up a meeting. Upon hearing our story, she carefully and professionally explained how her services would meet our objectives. Dominique explained that last thing a grieving family needs is more grief. She and her staff were fantastic. Dominique managed every aspect of the sale. She ensured that items were priced and staged well, she took care of our property, advertised as promised and conducted a successful sale that exceeded our expectations. After the sale, Dominique provided documentation of items sold and was prompt in issuing us a check. She has a number of options available for items that do not sale and when Dominique had finished, our aunt's home was cleared out and clean. Within a month of our aunt's sale, Dominique provided excellent service at another property we own. This sale was spread throughout a very large property with multiple buildings. This property was well known and generated tremendous local interest. Dominique was able to provide security, but we decided this was not necessary. Once again, we were very pleased. Please do your homework, there are some shady practices and people in this business. We believe we met one before meeting Dominique. I recommend you contact Dominique Kendall. Her services and the people who work with her are exceptional.
We hired Dominique Kendall to help liquidate the estate of our mother, and we cannot recommend her highly enough. She was very supportive through the whole process (even lending a shoulder to cry on when the emotional toll of our loss was mounting). She was extremely knowledgeable of the value of everything that our mother had collected during her lifetime, and helped us find good homes for all that our mother loved but we could not keep. She and her team put in countless hours preparing for the sale, and our mother's possessions never looked so wonderful as they did when she staged the house.
When your running a business isnt the object to treat people that are purchasing from you with respect? January 22 on haverhill street the guy working came to me and my friend and was very rude about a mask rule. He said well if u could read then you would see it on the door! As were walking out the door is open and the sign is facing the wall! I asked the man how can people see a sign if its facing the wall! He then started to belittle me with his coworkers laughing about my reading abilitys! If the sign was in plain sight we would of wore a mask! Very unprofessional and rude guy working here! Would avoid this company at all costs!
