2 stars because half the time there's issues with the app on an Android phone. I'd give it 3 stars if it were actually a dependable app and worked all the time.
The complex where I live had this product installed in all the units, and I wish they had done some research first. Speaking with a maintenance man from the complex, he said 70% of the service calls are to fix or replace the SmartRent Therometer. When the SmartRent company installed the equipment, they placed the Hub in a cabinet. Hmm. I could not get the app to work. Yesterday, I moved the Hub to an open area of the apartment. Still, the app will not work. Like many other residents at the complex, I will be having the product removed from my unit. And I know their response will be to connect it to my Wifi. It was connected to Wifi, and then after moving the Hub to a better location, I connected via a Ethernet cable, still the app does not work.
Ive lived here for two years and they just updated the apartments with SmartRent and its so convenient! Change temperature, adjust lighting and even lock your door all from your phone in bed

After one week of use, their touchscreen of my doors lock is already not working anymore (I press the numbers but the screen doesnt register the touch) and their hub cant even connect to my wifi. Another company selling dreams but delivering crap
