I don't answer their calls, because the calls always say their purpose is to collect a debt. The problem with my credit partially stems with them. They have stopped calling so I have peace now. I am getting work but would rather spend my money on things that help me heal from living in my car and shelters than pay off bills that I have contested societies' help for for years. So I'm happy again.
