Hi, Nathan - I'm sorry we missed double-checking the move in inspection prior to the deposit statement, but after reviewing your dispute resolution I do believe we were fair and did credit you back an additional $183. Humans make mistakes, and we are willing to admit when we do and make it right, so please keep that in mind. As for cleaning, yes, many tenants miss items like baseboards, behind appliances, the oven grease trap, light fixtures, tops of cabinets, etc., which is why we list these items in the acknowledgement letter we send to tenants after they turn in their notice to vacate and offer to do a move out inspection with tenants if they want to schedule one. Overall, we didn't have a terrible experience, but do not expect much of your deposit back. They like to charge first, then review move-in inspection items after you ask them to. You'll also be charged for cleaning because what you do won't be to their standard. You'll be charged labor for tightening the toilet seat as well as for cleaning "the grease trap" without any instruction to do so. Take pictures of EVERYTHING, even window screens, lights, etc. It's too bad our move out experience was like this or this review would have been much different. Will not be renting with them again if at all possible.
Beware, this company or the HOA who oversees their property at 565 S Workland Ln will send out tow trucks to boot your car if you have expired tabs. Regardless of the circumstances, prepare to pay $150 for boot removal in your own parking space.
