Hi Jamie You are correct in that we did cancel the lease after you did not pay your deposit. However, the rest of your review is not exactly truthful. The home you were approved was advertised and you applied and were approved for a home at a monthly rental rate of $1350. We did make a typo on the lease that resulted in the lease being for $200 less than the advertised price. You acknowledge the fact that it was a typo in your email to us . I understand that it was a typo, but it was agreed on by people on your end. Technically, you are correct. However, you knew this was a simple typo and you chose to try and take advantage of the situation and exploit an error for your own financial gain. As a result, we enforced the contract on our end and cancelled the lease when you did not meet the obligations of the lease by making your deposit and chose not work with you.

The day after we signed the lease, they tried to increase our rent by over $200. They informed us that our old lease was void, and we had to sign a new one. My roommate and I were confused and asked our contact Melissa questions about the details of this change. A subsection of the lease stated we had to pay 50% of the first month's rent within one day of signing the lease. Melissa purposefully waited 24 hours after the lease was signed to respond to us, saying we had not put down the holding deposit (even though we never got clarification on the price, and we did not know how much we were supposed to pay). The lease was terminated, and my roommate and I had to scramble to find somewhere else to live last minute. I was very disappointed in the professionalism of this property management, and I would recommend that people avoid renting from them in the future.
Hi Rocquina, I am sorry to see a one star review. Since you didn't leave any comments I can only assume you are upset your were declined for one of properties you for which you applied. The home you applied for received many applications and unfortunately you were just not the most qualified application. We assess all applications and approve the most qualified applicant not just the first one that comes through. We have a responsibility to our owners to provide the best applicants and there were more qualified applicants.

A series of duplexes have been managed by her for many years. Recently, we encountered a plumbing issue that required some research and investigation in order to figure out the proper fix. Keith has done an excellent job on this project. He offered several options for repair or replacement and was very thorough. Keith have always done an excellent job on this project and have managed our home for the past few years.

We do try to process applications as quickly as we can, but, we have had some fraudulent applications recently. As a result, we are increasing our scrutiny of all applications which can cause delays. At first I thought this place was legit. I noticed there are a few bad reviews on her mostly from tenants. Most of the good reviews seem to be from owners using reddoor property management services. I applied for a house on 525 n Belmont in Indianapolis and Beth let me know that it would take 7-10 days to get an update on my application. It's been way over 7-10 business days and They never got back to me. I tried calling left a message and no one called back. Looks like they never answer their phones. So I messaged a different person since communication with Beth went down the drain. Finally Jedda Comia sent me an email only to tell me that they are still waiting on my employment verification form that I already turned in. Very unprofessional. Fraudulent activity from this place. I do expect a full refund for the applications we turned in.
