Called to get a quote. Lady on the other end sounded like she couldn't be bothered helping me. Ended up giving me an astrinomical price. Poor service, ended up going to Snapshot Framing which had exactly what I was looking for.

Bitterly disappointed. I took up three pieces - 2 prints and 1 original. Stood waiting at the counter while the fellow served someone else. OK, so that's all fair enough. But after that five minutes and not even being acknowledged, I asked: "Is there someone else who could help me?" Response: "Well, there's no room on the counter, so you'll need to wait until I finish serving this lady." Next question: "Do you know how long that will be?" (please note that I was being as courteous as possible.) At which point he went out and brought someone else in. This is where it really got bad. The other fellow who came out looked at me, looked at my art, looked at the fellow serving then shrugged his shoulders, then looked back at me blankly. At this point I picked up my pieces and said: "I really need a place that will support my new Aboriginal art business, and that calls for customer service." Oh, by the way, this was after me calling through first and checking if it would be OK for me to drop by. So, anyone know of a good (customer service and quality) framer in Heidelberg West?
