Felix, we are not open to the public during this Covid 19 pandemic, we had 2 customers inside picking up orders and we asked you politely to please wait until they are done and you can then come in to view the engine you were interested in as we cannot have too many poeple inside at once. we apologize sincerely if you felt we in anyway disrespected you but that was not our intention. the safety of our customers and our staff come first.

I went in today to buy an engine today but they didnt show any interest in helping me out. No customer service what so ever! Dont spend your hard earned money here they obviously dont want it. Then you reply saying you asked me to wait! Your a lair! You are rude and disrespectful!

They suck! They sold me an engine for a Mitsubishi 3000 that had worn out crankshaft bearings and would barely run. there was also rust in the oil pan. No telling how long it had been there. It took me more than 30 days to install it and when I asked for a refund, they wouldn't do it. They sell junk!

I'm not much for testimonials and reviews but I feel inclined to write about my experience with Top Tier Japan. I own a 98 Honda Odyssey EX that serves as my daily driver, children's transportation to and from school, and it holds my teaching supplies, tables, and chairs, easels, paints for my weekend Paint Party side hustle. I'm also a traveling art teacher so I move building to building daily. Needless to say when my transmission started going out on my 160,000 mile vehicle I was a bit anxious about repair cost or the possibility of having to get another car payment on a teacher's salary. I took my vehicle to two different shops, one was Midas and the second was a Honda Dealership for a second opinion. Both said I'll need to replace my transmission and the cost was about $6K+ average from both places with the majority of the cost coming from a rebuilt transmission. I did some research for a good used transmission and top tier was one of the best options I found. Free shipping made it also an easier choice for me via eBay. Ultimately, I ended up saving thousands of dollars going this route and I get to keep my Ody with a newer 50K transmission installed by a Honda dealership (which to my surprise was cheaper than midas and a third Honda specialty shop for install). Communication was professional when I called about my shipping concerns and how I know I'm getting a 50k transmission and not a piece of trash transmission. I felt comfortable buying from Top Tier Japan and so should you. Thanks I also posted my review on Facebook. Quality place!

I would stay away and look elsewhere. These guys sold me a bad engine that was full of sludge and locked up almost instantly. Technically they do not owe me anything because I void the warranty by replacing the head gasket before dropping the engine in the car (reasonable to me to replace on an old engine before putting it in the car) and I was over the 30 day warranty period by the time I got around to installing the engine (i have a full time job and 2 small kids). Due to the sludge the oil pressure was insufficient to the head, seizing the cam and breaking it, causing many other things to break as well. I asked if they would at least send a partial refund for the defective product they sent but they were not willing to work with me at all. Regardless of warranty and whatnot, the product was terrible, not well inspected before sending, and not as described. After sending pictures and video of goop and sludge throughout the engine their solution was "buy another engine from us". IMO this is bad business and I would not do business with them. I'm not one to slander and appealed to them many times to make this right. This review is as truthful as it can be.
