Ashanta, the supplement process is outlined in your settlement package. Here are the instructions for supplements. There could be differences found during the repair process that were not visible during the initial inspection. If you or your contractor discovers damages not addressed in our estimate, or arrives at a different total from our estimate, it is necessary to contact us before any repairs are started. Our adjuster will settle any differences with your contractor and start a Supplement process. 1. Detailed (itemized) documentation from you or your contractor MUST BE emailed to us at [email protected]. Please ensure that your name, address, and claim ID # are included. 2. After review of provided documentation, a claims specialist will reach out to discuss whether a supplement is merited and/or if a re-inspection is necessary. 3. Americas will mail a revised Settlement Package with additional payment if applicable.

I'm never sure why people who are happy with service write good reviews but this company has provided outstanding service, I wouldnt change a single thing right down to the finest details. Quick, knowledgable, accomidating and efficient. I highly reccomend them, especially in theis Louisiana market where property owners insurance is so hard to come by and the coverage is less than you would expect for premium prices.
A lot of negative reviews from what I've been reading, but I have the opposite. I'll say this, yes, I never did get a call from them. I only dealt with the adjuster (who came out in a timely manner). Approximately a month after the adjuster came out, I received a check in the mail. I had zero issues with them, they didn't try to fight about my roof, or my fence. They just handled the issues. With a super low deductible, along with not trying to fight with me. I will recommend America's to everyone!
I was told by Ellen Westcoat that my Mold Policy was not triggered for enforcement because I do not have mold in my home. I had a large hole in my roof and my entire roof had to be replaced. My dinning room, a bedroom and closet, the hallway bathroom, the entire hall all was soaked and mold was growing to the point where I saw it and smelled it. My lungs function below 30% therefore I was not able to live in my home. The adjuster for supplement refused to allow me to collect on my mold policy because she said that I was supposed to have my home tested to let someone tell me what I could see and smell. They closed my supplements claim because I complained about Ellen Westcoat. Please beware of this adjuster. I submitted pictures and an invoice of my new roof and she refused to pay me the $4000 of recoverable depreciation on the roof, instead she has closed my claim.
