WHOA! Where does one begin in praising Ben Albert? Most marketing-communications professionals I have met are quick to promote themselves and tell you that you need them and them alone to prosper in business. Ben doesn't pitch; he doesn't pitch at all. Instead, Ben invites you to share your talent and wisdom via one of his podcasts. Ben knows marketing, podcasting, social media and is quite a creative talent as an artist, out-of-the-box thinker, and communicator. Check out his many podcasts (Groovecast; Rochester Business Connections; Learn Speak Teach) shared on his social profiles. I am grateful for the iconic portrait he crafted for my Facebook profile and the podcast that he produced that showcased my interest and insights into networking and relationship-building. Ben prepares, plans, executes and delivers big time without a follow-up pitch. Instead, he pays-it-forward demonstrates his value and requests your feedback as to what he could do better. His approach to recording a podcast puts one at ease as the podcast is recorded. Questions to be asked were provided in advance. The recording was a natural, comfortable conversation punctuated with praise and comments during the recording. Ben edits the podcast identifying the best 10 minutes after a one-hour recording. Ben is a great listener and communicator, as demonstrated in each podcast produced. His many talents are apparent in each production. Beyond the camera and recording, Ben is an awesome, selfless collaborator with a "how can I help you" mindset. He is a creative thinker and community builder who fosters a contagious spirit of community service.
