My partner came into The Boot Lab yesterday and was keen to see the range prior to booking a fitting to ensure the store had what we were looking for. He was not aware a booking was required for this also? Upon entry he was met with hostility and had almost the exact same experience as Jake Van Hoof. My partner was told abruptly that the brand of boots he wanted he can buy online if he already knows what hes looking for my partner asked if he had anything similar to this brand where he was told to make a booking to discuss he also said to go and make another google review about this experience which he found quite a strange thing to say. We checked the reviews and everything made sense. As someone who works in retail management hearing that this was my partners experience was astounding to me, to treat people who are courteous and respectful this way is disgusting. Having read through some of the reviews and the managements replies to these negative reviews tells me that the person that owns or runs this store isnt interested in bettering or providing great customer service and mainly blaming the customer for their experience. Customers can be rude but my partner was respectful in every way when he entered that store. I dont post any reviews as they can be misleading and detrimental to businesses but this was honestly a 0 star experience.

Hi Hayley, im so sorry I came across as aggressive. As a one man business sometimes I get completely overworked at this time of year and get burnt out. Bringing your father with you to the store for such a small adjustment kicking products on the floor in his way to storm across the room to me! the tone he used whilst not removing his sunglasses the whole time he was in the store upset me. I honestly strive my best to get everyone I deal with in the best fitting boots possible.

Andy was extremely aggressive when trying to speak with him regarding small adjustments required to my boots to avoid severe pain. I would not recommended his services, as I know many other with this same experience.
