This is an incredible nonprofit that provides life-changing service opportunities for people of all ages, both within and outside the US. They show visible commitment to providing holistic care for the people they serve and work with. I havent met a single person that has had a bad experience with HFK, and their Guidestar and Charity Navigator profiles can prove the commitment to transparency and effectiveness as a well-run nonprofit!

Great organization. I've been on a many trips with HFK (Peru (Andahuaylas & Lima) and Dominican Republic (Monte Plata)) and have had a unique experience each time. I love being able to see the same kids and staff each year at the international sites and build relationships with them and the team members I travel with. It is incredible how much you can learn and share in just one week (especially without all the distractions of technology) when you are engaging and sharing experiences with others.
