Wish I could leave no stars! The worst experience of my life. I came to the ER at around 8:30 after passing out in my home. I got there dizzy and weak and had to wait for almost 6 hours before I decided to go home. I was not treated at all. I got up over 8 times to ask about when Id see a Doctor and was told that the room Id be sent to are being cleaned. But lets not leave out the best part. The entire room filled up and emptied out twice while I waited there. What a horrible way to treat people. I left worst than how I came in. Not to mention how emotionally distraught I was after being there all night. This hospital is a joke.

My husband was in a motorcycle accident at Bike Week 2022. Halifax Health Center is the best trauma center around. We are from out of town but everyone took such good care of him!!!!!

I have used this facility to great disgust. I just came in for the covid inhibitor, as I was told on the phone it was the only hospital that had them in stock. I already had with a prescription from another hospital who was out of stock of the drug, and they would not help. Had me spend another 2pm to 6:30 pm in !n ER waiting room to write me the script. Why did I have to go get another prescription from another doctor/hopsital? Why wouldn't this one fill it or honor the other hospital? Why do I have to be the victim of a hospital war? When I tried to leave the waiting room they told me they were gonna charge my copay anywhich my cope anyway even though I had not been seen yet. I hear that's fraud in most cities..... Then they did it to the girl next to Me Too! And warned her the bill would be over a $1000 if she tried to leave, and she hadn't even been seen yet. When i already had confirmed I had covid, why did I have had to spend the day in Halifax Hospital to get another written script, with the doctors looking at my forms from Advent not knowing why they didn't give me the script already??????. Makes no sense to me, either. Avoid this place if time and logic matter to you!
