Buying a car from this garage was a negative experience, great customer service at the start and at the time purchasing the vehicle Really pleased with the vehicle upon till the next day the thermos stat went and was told nothing was wrong with the car the father and son both lie who sell cars there together. We was also said I can guarantee you this car is spot on etc so I would watch this Ute

Dear Will, Every vehicle that we sell is checked to make sure all our vehicles are road worthy for the safety of us as a company and most importantly our customers. Please take into account The BMW 3 series you purchased is over 13 years old with over 95,000 miles on the clock. The issues raised with us were mainly wear and tear issues that we compensated you as goodwill even though it was at our discretion and for the issues that werent classed as wear and tear you were also compensated. As you viewed the vehicle before purchasing some of the issues you raised after the sale were visual and should have been picked up at the time of you viewing the vehicle. In relation to your comment regarding our staff we will take this feedback onboard and make changes in staff training, however this is the first time weve had a negative comment regarding any of our employees. Also the mixup with the logbook we sincerely apologised for as this was a genuine human error which can occur from time to time which we take full accountability for. We even compensated you for the application of a new logbook as it was the least we could do as it was an honest mistake. We feel like we have been more then fair in this situation and our manager has already been in contact with you regarding this matter to see if we can come to a resolution. Please do not buy from here!! The cars are not checked over thoroughly and the warranty they provide is pointless under the consumer rights act 2015. This is not a large company and is instead a young man selling cars under a company name. I bought a 2008 Bmw 320d from them at the end of June 2021. After reading previous reviews and everything looking very positive I viewed the car that was listed as an excellent example. Upon first checks the oil level was low which was topped up before test drive. However once I got the car home I found numerous faults, which to be fair to them I was reimbursed the cost price for the parts. The following problems I have found since buying the car. Cup holder broken, cigarette burn on the rear seat Glove box had not been emptied Fog light broken Wiring fault to the passenger side light unit Cracked alloy Missing wheel bolt with damage and rusty thread Age perished tyres Glow plug warning and lumpy idle DPF fault Wheel bearing noise. And the car had not been serviced by whirlowdale cars I have as of yet not taken the car to a garage due to the labour rate only having just been upgraded to 50 an hour limiting me on available garages in my area. I was also sent the wrong logbook and I am currently having to apply for a new one as they have lost the one for the car I purchased. Please do a thorough inspection of the vehicle of any vehicle you wish to purchase and take time to check through the history. I dont like to leave bad reviews however I feel like none of the other reviews give a genuine representation. I have tried to sort out the issues with the company but there are too many issues that should not have happened.

One of the best service I have come across car was fully prepped before I picked it up and they gave me a addition 6 month warranty for free thanks a lot whirlodale cars

Bought a superb driving, excellent condition Skoda. Drove it down 150 miles for me and were pleasant to do business with. Thanks for answering all my questions and were great with checking the car when it arrived in the rain. They were patient and kept great communication throughout process. Thanks again managing to keep a straight face when i got lost in my own area...twice! Did have a faint smoke smell in the car probably from previous owner.

Hi Asma, Every vehicle that we sell is checked by our mechanic as a duty of care to the customer purchasing one of our vehicles, and if its isnt fit for the road everything is done to make sure it is. The overheating issue you made us aware of shortly after purchase we provided our best support. We advised you to take the vehicle to our mechanic who was able to fix the problem at trade price with a 50% contribution from us as a gesture of good will, even though you purchased the vehicle with no warranty and got over 600 knocked off the total bill. In additon to this we didnt get the MOT done as it had 10 months remaining till it expired. If the discs were not deemed safe or were worn then our mechanic would have stated this when he did the checks around the vehicle. Also you test drove this vehicle before purchasing, if the discs were worn as youve stated it would have been noticeable throughout the duration of the test drive as the car would be shaking every time you pressed the brakes. Regarding the logbook, full disclosure was given before you purchased the vehicle in relation to that it was an import and regarding the service history (as stated on your invoice) therefore leaving you to make the decision in purchasing this car. You were advised that as its an import recieving the new log book can take some time to arrive. Our Manager has already been in contact with you regarding this whole matter but not received a response, If there is anything else we can assist with please call us on 0114 400 0075. I wrote a review 3 week ago on the same day i purchased the car. The following day I had a major fault with the car where the engine was over heating. I called the garage back and the response was it wasnt their issue even though the garage had confirmed the car was perfect and it anything was wrong with it bring it back and take a refund. They garage went back on all their words even though 3 out of the 4 people stood there heard this except the one that had said this. The coolant was leaking as the pipe was broken. We got this fixed and had to pay. The coolant box was mixed with dirt. The log book was registered out of uk and was never advised it would take 10 weeks and the garage have told us we can go to post office and get the road tax but this wasnt the case. There was no MOT for the car except the new one they had got completed which seems slightly dodgy as the discs are about to go and they havent been mentioned. The car had no service history and we bought this on trust and they lied saying timing belt has been changed and we had got it changed ourselves. We paid 10.5K for the car trusting these people. I wouldnt ever go back to them. They are dodgy most definitely and hide a lot about the car and make sure on the receipt its sold as seen. NEVER AGAIN. Take a mechanic with you, its dodgy the garage.
