Update*** Its about to be a year in April that we closed on our house and yet no shutters have been placed in our house. In the contract it stated it would have to be within 30 days of closing. We keep calling and they never answer. Even thinking of taking other actions. DO NOT TRUST THEM. I love my home its beautiful that is why we went with pointe homes, but their customer service is unacceptable! We call no answer, we message and no answer! Even our realtor tries to contact them, and gets no answer from them. They messed up with the elevation of our house and Mario Ayala promised us (we even signed a contract) they would put shutters throughout the house to compensate for it, but weve been in our house for 6 months now, and they havent installed anything! We havent had any repairs done to the house, and just give us the runaround that it will get done. One of our toilets is cracked and they never came to exchange it! There are just so many issues.

We are very happy with our home and aesthetics! Bernice with Warranty - Super attentive and always returns my calls. She's very nice, helpful and very understanding. Sophia Arrango - She has been outstanding with customer service. Hope she gets a raise. I feel like she was the only one who really cared about our home buying experience and was very patient with us. Roy Padilla - Quality Control - Such a great person and is always very helpful. Answers all my questions and works hard to make sure we are happy with our home. Such a happy guy with a positive attitude. Helped us make modifications to our fireplace when the sales/design team said it couldn't be done. Awesome customer service! Richard Sanchez - Field Production - Awesome person and very attentive. Making sure we are happy with our home as well as monitors all warranty fixes. Super happy with his customer service. Gave me his card to call if we need anything. Richie De La O - Foreman - Also a very great person. Super attentive and makes sure we are happy with our home. He is passionate about his workers doing a good job and has high standards for the quality of our home's construction. THE BAD Claudia - Sales - Worst person we have interacted with in our home buying experience. She used some unethical practices to get us to purchase our home and had no issue being rude to us and our agent. We were told that we would receive a free shutter in the front window, that apron sinks were standard and that we can modify and make additional upgrades once we get to the interior design portion which was not true. Also, we wanted a home lot that didn't have a cable box. She showed us on a map, 1 lot that didn't have it and we put the money down to reserve. It turns out, that lot had a green cable box. When we complained and confronted to her about the lies she kept saying 'It's a buyers market, if you don't want the house, someone else will buy right away.' Always making us feel like a number and that we are replaceable as buyers. She also didn't mention anything about a COVID-19 addendum that raised our home cost by 5,000. We signed the contract and then this addendum was sent to us after. Mario Ayala - Owner - Mario reached out to us after we requested to work with a different seller after our horrible experience with Claudia. But he basically said there's nothing he can do. He didn't charge us a work order change fee for our upgrades that we thought were included with our contract. He seemed unbothered by the lies that we were told by Claudia. Denise - Interior Design - Denise was not bad to work with, but she also misinformed us. She told us that we would have remote control stainless ceiling fans included in our design package but that was not true. We received some cheap fans and then she said, 'sorry there were budget cuts and I just found out.' She apologized but said there's nothing she could do. Also, she recommended an off white paint color when we really wanted a light grey. We're not happy with the off white as it's very noticeable to all imperfections and gets dirty fast. Big leak from our shower - We had a huge leak in our shower but we were happy that Roy, Richie and Richard handled the leak immediately. It was repaired right away. Gas Leak from Fireplace - For a few days, we were smelling gas in the living room and it was potent. We called the warranty department and they came to fix it right away. Turns out there was indeed a leak and also came a 2nd time to verify it wasn't leaking, which it wasn't. A few electrical issues - When we turned on the broiler on our oven, the power kept going out. Seems to be working now though. Overall - We're happy with our home, but not happy at all with the sales reps/leadership team. Their business practices are sketchy and we didn't feel comfortable with Pointe Homes. But we didn't like any floorplans from other builders so we went through with it.
We purchased our new home in June and have had so many issues with the quality and construction. We have had electrical issues, a shower leak that ruined the kitchen ceiling, no heat, a dangerous gas leak from the furnace and no hot water. Many of these issues were found on Fridays or on weekends. The only saving grace is Richard and the warranty team. They will always answer the phone and come to fix the issue no matter when it happens. They are always professional and friendly. They are the only reason we recommend this builder to our friends.
