We have used Detailed Cleaning Services for both our home and for a rental property. We have always been satisfied with the price and service for our home cleaning and would give them 4.5 out of 5 for the monthly home cleaning. We recently used them for a deep cleaning and carpet cleaning of our 1,600 square foot rental property. This is a higher end property and was in pretty good condition prior to the clean. After Detailed Cleaning finished the job we noticed the master bathroom counter top, toilet, floor, along with the hardwood floors on the main level were still dirty. I then had to clean those areas, which all of the dirt came off pretty easily with a magic eraser. Prior to receiving our bill, we contacted them with our comments, and they did nothing. Then when we received the bill for a total of $467.99 I called their office and again voiced my complaints. This time they offered to reduce the price to $434.99. I believed $434.99 is still way too much to pay for a less than good cleaning and carpet cleaning job that only covers 1,600 square feet. We will not be using them again on any of our rental properties. We will however continue to use them for our monthly home cleaning service as they have done a much better job for us in this area.
Were very dissatisfied with the service from Dixons. We contacted Dixons in August for Gutter service, because there were some good reviews online. Upon requesting service, we were told they couldnt provide any timeframe for service and it would happen when they were in our area. We were told that we would get notice well beforehand. We were notified an hour before service. The appointment was 3:30p on November 3rd, over 2 months after service was requested. We only received any communication an hour before the appointment, 2:19p on Nov 8th. Minimum should be 24 hours, or at least the day before so we could plan for it. With COVID and working from home, it was by chance I happened to check my email a few minutes before my appointment time, however I wasnt able to meet with the team. The appointment was confirmed for 3:30p according to email, team shows up at 4:25p. I took time off from work, but wasnt able to meet with them because it was so long after their scheduled time. We never received the promised call from the team when they were on the way or with a more precise ETA. Notes? Where are the notes? The phone operator that took the service request, and operator the day of service when I checked to see where the team was, told me an assessment of my gutters and downspouts would be provided. Did they even do my downspouts? Nothing other than a bill. Pictures, there is no proof that any service was done, other than some noise and a bill. Would not recommend.
Not really sure what the other two reviewers were talking about when they said Dixon's has bad service, as we have had Dixon's washing the windows of our home inside and out for 14 years now, sometimes twice a year. Not only do they show up on time, they are courteous, respectful, do a fantastic job and have never left a mess behind. On a couple of occasions we have had to reschedule due to rain or high winds, but that was certainly not their fault. My husband and I have also had them put on gutter covers, gutter heaters and roof heaters. We have not had any problems with any of them either at installation or while in use. I would definitely recommend hiring them!
This was my first time hiring professional cleaning help other than at time when I was moving. The folks that set up my service were very responsive and answered the questions that I had promptly with clear communication. Even more than that, I want to sing the praise of the two women that came to clean my apartment. It was rough around the edges, and they left the place sparkling clean. Fast, kind, and professional. They were super sweet with my cat and communicative about what they needed while allowing me to keep getting my work done. It was honestly such a great experience, and I plan to continue using D&D for regular cleanings!
The administrative piece was good, but the actual cleaning was lack lustre.
