Horrible service! Worst experience I have ever had. I had to come back about 5 times to have something fixed every single time when I was told that my car was ready to be picked up. One situation could have been very dangerous. Staff has no idea what they are doing and technicians are not educated whatsoever. Will never go back there ever again. Car turned out horrible overall and was not satisfied.

I used this auto body shop after being referred by State Farm. My car had been rear-ended and needed a new liftgate, rear bumper and floor pan. Unfortunately, the total time it took to get the car back to normal was 2 months. During this time, Schafer's called to say the car was ready twice but there were issues each time. First time the paint color was completely off and the liftgate was not adjusted on properly. The second time the bumper color was still quite off from the rest of the car. While eventually it did get done right, I think the main frustration I had, was that they kept trying to convince me to take it as is. A few times the person would squat down and tell me it looked great from that angle or say something about the sun and shadows being a cause. They did say if I wanted it to match it would need to be blended, which was confusing to me, as I thought it was a given that I'd want the parts to match. Overall, I think it would have been better if they would have owned up to the poor quality versus try to pass it off. I do appreciate that they ultimately fixed the issue.

First time I used them two years ago for some hail damage repair they were great. Then recently brought in the same car for rear end damage a month ago and was told there was a 6 week backlog but they'd let me know if something opened up sooner. Fair enough. I told them to just let me know when to bring it in. Then called back to check status a month later and was told it would be additional 6 weeks from the previous date, but I got the distinct impression they simply lost my original appointment.
