Good afternoon Samuel, my name is Tom and I am the owner. I apologize that I'm just now seeing this review and getting back with you. I have spoke with everyone in our shop that was there when you came in. I also reviewed the security camera footage when you were there. We have and amazing staff but I cannot apologize enough for that inexcusable behavior and disciplinary action will be taken. The one stylist at the bar was not feeling well but our manager was taking the trash out back and did not see what happened. They should've given her the request as she absolutely would've taken you. We are there to take care of you, the customer no matter if you come in one minute to closing. I have made this abundantly clear to my entire staff and anything contrary to that will not be tolerated. Once again please accept my sincerest apology and we would love to have you come back in and the haircut is on me! I really hope we have the chance to show you what Tune Up is really all about! Online showed they closed at 7pm with walk ins welcome. I dont get off until 6 and sometimes work goes over. Work went a little over but I rushed over as fast as I could. Got there with about 15-20 minutes to spare. My hair doesnt take long and if I had not gotten there with so much time left I wouldnt have troubled them. I was told they stop accepting appointments at 6:15, I said I didnt have an appointment I was a walk in. They told me that they still wouldnt cut my hair. Mind you, no chairs had a single person in them besides two people just chatting up at the bar. I have always worked in customer service and the time we post as the time we close is the time we stop accepting people. Not some make believe time 45 minutes before you actually close. Owner you are paying your people to just sit around and turn business away. This is the N Fort Worth location on N Tarrant on 7/7/2021. Tune up couldnt be troubled for my business so I wont trouble them anymore.

Good afternoon Jordon, I'm the owner and I wish to sincerely apologize that your experience this last visit turned out the way it did. I see that you have been coming into our shop off and on for the past year. The gentleman you were referring to at the front that day was our manager, Cesar. He's been with us since we opened our doors three years ago and is an outstanding stylist and employee. I am surprised you've never seen him before. We are suffering from the nationwide labor shortage along with every other small business. We had no bar staff to tend to the register, the bar and waiting customers that day for that very reason. Our stylists have to pull double duty when that happens and unfortunately, the experience that we normally provide with bar staff suffers because of it. This is not an excuse, just a reason. The gentleman that came in after you and received services before you was one of our VIP members. VIP's get to make appointments as that is part of the benefits they receive for their monthly premium. The bar attendant would have been able to clarify that for you if we had one that day. I have personally spoken with every one of my employees that if we do not have a bar attendant on any given day, that they need to over communicate with waiting customers so this does not happen again. Thank you for bringing this to my attention as I appreciate all comments so we can improve the experience to all of our clients. Ive come here quite a few times and its always just been acceptable. They get the job done quick and clean and the drinks are a great touch. I went in today an a man ive never seen was working the front. His service was beyond poor brushing me off like i was barely and just saying it would be a short waitf. I sat for over an hour on my own with no updates and when i thought i might actually get a haircut they got someone else who came in 30 minutes after me so i walked out and no effort was made to try to appease. If your busy tell your customers that instead of treating them and their time like its worthless. As a business owner if i saw my employee treat my guest like that i would've fired them on the spot. Extremely unacceptable

If I could give this place 10 stars I would do so. The girls were very friendly from the beginning and the customer service was excellent. Cesar is hands down and gem in the industry. He gave me the best haircut and beard trim I have ever had. I'm a life long customer after today. Thank you everyone for your commitment to excellence.

Hey, thank you for your feedback! Were definitely a walk-in based salon. You can check-in on the app or call to check-in. The check-in is not a guarantee to sit at the requested time but should be fairly close to the time requested. Appointments are reserved for our monthly VIP memberships as part of the monthly premium they pay. Its like call ahead seating verses a true reservation at a restaurant. Regardless, you should not have been bumped due to walk-ins. I will definitely make sure our staff is clear on handling this going forward. Thank you again for letting me know! Tom, Owner

I like bringing my son here but I called to see if they accept walk ins and they said yes but they wanted to go ahead and book me an appointment. I booked the appointment, showed up, and they said since they just had two walk ins it would be a 20 minute wait... Not how appointments work.
