This was from a few years back. I am still mad about my experience. I came without an appointment and they still cut my hair. The lady cut my hair and when I went back to my dorm, there were many strands of UNCUT, long hair. Was she blind? I had to redo my haircut with my own scissors. How can you guys charge $20+ for a terrible haircut??

I cannot stress how much I enjoy a trip to Louie's. Lou is a really friendly guy who knows his way around a head of hair and only picks the finest when hiring. Your head will be in good care and you'll walk out looking great. A basic men's hair cut is $25 which is well worth it. If your in the area, definitely give him a try.

As a freshman at BU I was nervous about finding a good barber shop near campus, then I found Louie's.... Haven't gone anywhere else since in my 4 years at BU and plan to come back any time I'm in the city. I've never seen anyone walk out of there without a great cut. Personally I've had Tyler as my barber from the start. Tyler is skilled, confident, consistent, diligent, and a great person to just chat with - everything you could ask for in a barber. The owner, Louie, is a great guy who runs a clean shop and treats all of his customers like family. Anyone in the area should absolutely try out Louie's for their next haircut.

Very poor experience. The lady who cut my hair was easily distracted and didn't seem to care about anything she was doing.
