I would like to respond by providing the full story and history of the situation with Ms. Gleaton. She has purchased four cars from us in the past 19 years. Three of her four cars were repossessed and /or written off due to non-payment. In January of 1999, she purchased a 1987 Mazda 626 that was repossessed in October of 1999. In February of 2000, she purchased a 1993 Ford Tempo that was turned over to collections in January of 2002, due to non-payment. On March 8, 2014, she purchased a 1997 Chrysler Town & County that was written off in November of 2014, again, due to non-payment. Economy Auto Sales has been in business since November of 1990, and thankfully, we do not get many customers like Ms. Gleaton. When purchasing a used car, it is important to properly maintain the vehicle with regular oil changes, etc. Ms. Gleaton, unfortunately, did not properly maintain any of her vehicles and has repeatedly refused to take personal responsibility for this as well as her poor payment history. At Economy Auto Sales, we do our very best to sell quality cars at fair prices, and we have been doing so for the past 29 years (at the same location). I challenge anyone reading this response to find other used car dealers who can say the same.

This purchase was by far the easiest, most pleasant auto purchase I have ever experienced, and I have over my many years purchased numerous vehicles, both new and used. I was looking for a mini van with stowe & go seats, and a friend recommended Economy. Victor is amazing...honest, laid back and truly interested in getting you into the right car for your needs. He was more than willing to work out a payment arrangement that worked well for both of us. The van I chose (he had several) had a couple of small, non mechanical issues that Carlos fixed immediately before driving off the lot the first time. (I'm picky, so just needed to repair a couple small things that bothered me.) I bought a 2005 Crysler Town & Country, and it is perfect for me. Interior is excellent condition, shockingly so due to its age. Everything works perfectly, air, heat, all electronics, sliding doors, power locks, power windows. Mechanically, it is smooth and solid. My mechanic was impressed. Absolutely perfect. Highly, highly recommend Economy if you need a solid, dependable, inexpensive vehicle. FYI, I bought this van in January 2020, and 6 months later it is still as smooth as the day I drove it home. I love it!!

I want to be very clear when I say this IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A GOOD CAR GREAT PAYMENT PLANS WONDERFUL SUPPORT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE OR EVEN A BUY HERE PAY HERE CAR LOT THIS IS IT YOU WONT REGRET IT !! First of all let me say that I have been in business at the same location here in Decatur GA. for over 26 years. Secondly I have NEVER edited pictures on any of my vehicles. The vehicle that Marah Toews came to see was a 1990 Jaguar XJ6 advertised for $1995.00, a 27 year old car!! When Marah called to inquire about the Jaguar he just asked me if I still had it, nothing else was asked about the condition of the vehicle. He was agitated from the moment he arrived on my lot. Interestingly enough 2 hours after Marah left, another customer examined this vehicle and was extremely happy with its condition, being a 27 year old vehicle. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. False advertising! The pictures posted of the car must have been edited because the paint job on a car we looked at was flawless in the photos and discolored and peeling in person. It also had a broken gas cap with water pooling up in it and they pried the cap off and when I heard water gurgling into the gas tank they assured me that it was draining somewhere else as if I was some bimbo. Don't come here if you're looking for a good car. Wish I could have the 4 hours of my life back that I took to drive there and back.
