Unfortunately used engines come with a limited time warranty. It's the buyers responsibility to make sure the engine is installed within the warranty period. In this case the warranty was expired by few months.

Dont buy from here. I bought a jdm ej205 from them, spent the winter months slowly getting everything situated (t-belt, pulleys, new engine harness, various gaskets, plugs, hoses, rust prevention, and prepping engine bay) doing everything the right way, when I pulled the engine off the crate to swap oil pans because its damaged there was half a piston skirt sitting in the oil pan. I messaged them, said they were all compression tested and since I was past the warranty there was nothing they could do. I understood and was even willing to work with them about pricing on a new engine but they didnt care. Now after $1,600 plus accessories and dozens of hours I have a MD JDM paper weight that never even made it into the car, they could care less.

I bought a motor from these guys in December 2019. It was delivered to me with free freight. The motor had severe carbon buildup and MDJDM motors refunded me about 1/4 of the price back since it was low compression and needing a rebuild. Fast forward 7 months and I start getting collection notices from the freight company. It turns out MD JDM hasnt paid for dozens of freight bills, and the freight company started sending me collection notices and threats of attorney fees for the freight MD JDM was supposed to pay!!! Stay away from MD JDM.
