We had a house built little over two years ago. We had to replace the dishwasher already. The dishwasher died on us once while under warranty. It was fix at no charge. It died again not long after being fixed after one year warranty expired. In addition to the dishwasher problem our tub is cracking. Keep in mind we have not been in house two and a half years yet. Our bathtub is cracking in several spots. I think the tub was improperly installed. We have a few others problems too.
We have been in our Trinity custom built home for almost 8 months now. I wish I could say that we had a pleasant experience with Trinity. But, I cant. There is way too much to put in this review post. First off, the paint job is horrible, there are way too many nail pops, the exterior doors have gaps and not sealed properly, there is such a large gap in one of the French doors, you can clearly see the lock latch on the deadbolt lock and the knob, the baseboard seams are coming apart and the outlet covers are of cheap plastic that warp inward when its too warm inside. Have to wait until the 1 year mark to get these things fixed. If you call them out before 1 year they wont come back. Ryan in the local office lead us to believe that we were getting certain things. But, when the house was built that was not the case. He was not very knowledgable about home building and the cooperate office folks were not helpful either. They also need to offer better products. The samples in their local office are outdated and everything outside of that are considered upgrades, which will cost the customer more money. Wish I had chosen another builder.
I recently had a home built by Trinity Custom homes completed March 8, 2019. I have had a very positive experience working with Derek Key and Jerry. I liked the fact that I was able to pick all fixtures, colors, etc in one day. I actually designed the entire house in one day. My build out time was less than expected even with the rainy weather. Jerry was very knowledgeable and gave me great customer service with prompt responses to phone calls and questions. I have not actually moved in just yet so I can not give a review of the appliances and workmanship yet but I will post another review before my warranty expires in 12 months.
Our experience with Trinity custom home was excellent through the whole process. Sales reps in Augusta were very knowledgeable and helpful with every aspect of the process. Thanks guys, and thanks to the site superintendent. Great job!! Amy and Larry Clements
