on their waiting list met all of their qualifications remain down there waiting list was never selected and then kick ed off their waiting list because I'm autistic even though I was applying for a service dog because of cerebral palsy. I felt so betrayed I cried for a month. I now live in a group home because of my disability even though I'm certain that that dog would have helped keep me independent.
I went through the entire certification process to work with dogs, and learned that this place is nothing more than a puppy mill. These dogs are kept in cement kennels for the first 1 to 2 years of their lives. Sometimes they are kept with dogs that have bitten them. They are fed low quality food and treats. There are so many litters of puppies that they cant give these dogs the attention they need to move them through the program. When you have a concern about a dog, it is kept secret. In fact, everything is secretive, rather than focused on doing the right thing the right way.
I am posting this review for someone else, because in the dog contract, it states they may not publicly criticize the organization or C.A. will repossess the dog. It's an epilepsy dog that doesn't alert and isn't trained to get help, or even respond to seizures. That speaks for itself, I think, but let's add the cherry on top. They are contractually not allowed to have the dog trained, nor to train it themselves. It doesn't have basic dog training either. Sit, stay, come, are all foreign, it runs when not on a leash and pulls when it is, worse it is aggressive and will attack other animals. Let's say that again- a dog that is working with a mobilly impaired person pulls, lunges, and runs. 0/10. They used to offer quality dogs, but don't be fooled, times have changed the owners have dropped the ball.
