Took both of my 165 dollar garments (faja) here for alterations 100 dollars later he ruined both didn't use correct thread or alter the long one into shorts did it in a rush at pick up after having them a week.
Last weekend I went to this spot because of all the positive reviews. Many reviews had mentioned how great he was at accommodating same day alterations. I went in on Saturday as I had an emergency alteration needed for my bridal shower dress. He promised he would have it ready same day in the afternoon if not earlier and that he would give me a call. I'm truly disappointed that I did not receive a call back to go pick up the dress. I was so busy that I did not call myself and ended up having to wear a different dress than the pretty dress I ordered just for my bridal shower. I still haven't received a call back to this day to let me know it's ready.
The Fit is a great spot! My spouse found an amazing suit for our wedding then I went there to have the train shortened on my dress. They made it fit so much nicer! Im so happy! Referred our brides maids and flower girls as well. Everyone was praising the results! Quick, highly personable, professional, affordable!
I had my dress completely altered a week before prom. They took off the top layer (which was itchy) along with changing the straps. Came out absolutely beautiful and on time! Very kind employees as well. 20/10
I took my wedding dress here to get altered. I wanted it to be a tea length dress and it was a full length gown with a train. It also needed the straps to be adjusted slightly. They told me it would be easy and to come back in a week. When I came back a week later, nothing had been done. They said, "oops we put it in the wrong place. Sorry, come back next week it will be done" I come back the next week and it was a mess. My skirt had several layers, which is why we opted to not alter it ourselves, and all of them were different lengths. They said, "this is an easy fix, we'll put it on a mannequin and even it out" I came back for the final time a week later and it was closer but still not even and now with the straps adjusted the dress magically didn't fit anymore. I took it home assuming that we could undo the folded seam on the shoulder and be able to correct it, and that I'd be able fix the last few hem issues. Turns out what they did to the lace straps has damaged the dress. They cut off a section at the top of each strap, and sewed it back up. The lace is now damaged and can't be put back together. It also raised the dress up so much that it no longer sits where it is supposed to and won't zip. I do not recommend them for any wedding dress or complex alteration beyond hemming pants or a basic skirt. It's now 6 weeks before my wedding and I'm struggling to find some kind fix for the straps, converting my dress to be strapless or buying a new one altogether.
