They lied about the shuttle between the venues and were not clear about what the cards could be used for at the various venues. They are awful - I would never go to another bar crawl hosted by them.
How do I start. I rarely leave reviews but I couldn't go without leaving a review on the NYE Uptown Dallas Event. I would like to give this Zero stars but that is not possible. We arrive at the check in bar and get our bands. Everything is fine and dandy until our group decided to move on to the next bar. We walk outside to find an unorganized mass of people standing in the street waiting for a bus. The first party bus shows up. Most of the people run towards in and start piling on. As we walk to that bus another bus pulls up so we run to that bus. There was pushing and shoving to get on the bus. A few people get on and we are then told the bus is full. They can only hold 20 people at a time. Really? There has to be at least 80 people still waiting on buses. So we wait and we wait, 30 minutes go by so we say call an Uber. We finally get to the next bar which had a long line. We find out they are at full capacity and are not letting anyone in. Haha seriously? I paid $100 for two tickets only to have to pay for an Uber and not be let in to the bar? Our group ended up just walking down the street to another bar that was not a part of the Event because we just wanted to have some drinks and celebrate the new year. This event was poorly organized, poorly run, and over booked. It was advertised as this awesome Party Bus experience but as soon as the wristbands were handed out, we were left to fend for ourselves. An event this big on a night like this should have had staff at every bar to make sure that your customers were able to get on buses orderly and were able to get into the bars you promised. I will be contacting you soon for a refund. I expect my friends in our party will also be contacting you. Sincerely, The couple that did NOT get our DRINK ON
Don't bother with this company. Poorly organized, the bars that were "participating" either stated that the "free" drink tickets needed to be paired with a purchase or they were not accepting them at all under any circumstances. The free food buffet ran out of food in 30 minutes. Overcrowded bars with no organized movement of people, bartenders stated that they were only told about the event the midnight before. Promises on Facebook to "make it right" were just tickets to another one of their poorly organized events. I ended up telling dozens of other pissed off bar crawlers to charge back their tickets, hoping that sends a message since MyDrinkOn clearly doesn't care now.
