I urge you, DO NOT use this service This is not a moving company, this is a dispatch and logistics company. This company contracts out other moving services to load your items on to rented trucks with rented movers. I was supposed to move on 7/20, the date that was in my booking made several weeks before and was (to my understanding) in the contract. We received a text on 7/19 that they would not be coming to our house until 7/21. When I called to ask why they just said that the agreements are "Subject to change". Convenient. When 7/21 finally rolled around (and we were behind on our cross country move) the rented truck driven by the rented driver was damaged on the way to our home and we were told we could not load it. We sat for several hours while the very polite driver did his best to amend but since he was a third party driver driving a rented truck, he had to return it so every company could make liability checks. We were later called by another company MovingPlace (?) saying that we would not be able to receive another truck until 7/23. Where was Zippy Shell during all this? great question, never got a call from them, let alone any assurance that our move would even happen. We decided to scrap this mediocre company and go with Uhaul, which we were lucky enough to get a truck the next day. I called to request a refund and make my cancellation and the cancellation agent on the other end of the phone just said "OK, we'll send you an email" and hung up before I had time to realize the conversation was even over. There are a handful of genuinely nice agents in this company but when things aren't going their way, they become VERY rude. Choice is yours, but if you want to make an already very stressful event even more stressful, this is your pick.

Zippy Shell told me that they would pro rate the price if I went over a day or two, but they did not pro rate and charged me a for a full second month for going a couple days over. I would not recommend using them.

THIS PEOPLE ARE THIEFS. THEY MAKE YOU SIGN AN AGREEMENT THAT SAYS THAT THEY ARE GOING TO CHARGE THE SECOND HALF ONCE YOU HAVE A DESTINATION, BUT IN THE OTHER PART THEN ITS SAYS THAT THE DESTINATION IS THEIR WAREHOUSE. THEY DONT MAKE IT CLEAR AND ITS VERY TRICKY AND CONFUSING. THIEFS THIEFS THIEFS!
