Do not move here. The landlord is a slumlord. He has repeatedly threatened to kick us out because we asked him to do repairs or get rid of mice. He will also try to cheat you out of extra money.

Move in January and was charged double deposit for nothing. I had verifiable residence for the last 3 years. I paid $1800 for deposit & was told only half was refundable. Talked to a few neighbors around there and he did the same to them. Great credit score, verifiable residency, still charges double deposit. So we paid that and moved in. The landlord was there everyday, watching everything everyone does. There is nothing you are allowed to do. Couldnt park work truck out front, couldnt sand wood on my porch. He was always watching. Texting every other day about a complaint, nit picking. Well, 9 months after move in, he informs me he isnt renewing my lease and I have 30 days to move out since the registration on my car is out and I quote never text him back. Never once was late on rent. It was in his hand on the first of every month. We are in the middle of a pandemic and the governor gave us an extension on getting the registrations done. If I can drive on the road, I should be able to park in my driveway. Its only a month to month lease so you are never safe with him. A week before I moved out, he text me and said hes be coming to take pictures of the house and I told him if he can come another time since my kids were home alone. He refused and told me he was coming regardless of what I say. Anyways, fast forward to now. We moved out Monday and left the house in good condition (I took pics of everything). He sends me an invoice saying I dont get any deposit back and that I owe him $2000. He dont care about his residence only what you can pay him. He raised rent for other tenants $100, during a pandemic!! People are losing jobs and all he cares about is his money. After we moved out, I see he is charging more for the house than I was paying. So if youre a fan of paying double deposit that youll never see again, having him watch your every move, and knocking on your door out of nowhere demanding $40 because your yard isnt mowed on a Sunday. Then this is the place for you! Also, he carrys himself very rude. Wouldnt recommend to anyone.
