Know people who live in there new builds lots of issues but company won't do anything

Do not go near this company if they approach you to carry out any works for them. They never pay on time and mess about with payment. Trades walk off site on a weekly basis due to non payment. I wouldn't trust them to run a bath let alone a housing development.

Denise (my Wife) and I bought our new home (an Elm - Plot 19, now 37 Parish Close) at Heritage Fields Phase 2, St Nicholas at Wade placing our reservation fee with Natasha, the sales representative during November 2020. We finally moved in on 23rd July 2022 some three and a half months late. The whole process became traumatic for us as of course Covid-19 came along then Denise lost her mum to Covid on 1st February 2021. We knew that the company were never ever going to meet their initial 31st March 2021 delivery date because firstly, the Covid lockdown then secondly the subsequent materials shortages came along. We knew that our house sat as a shell with no roof for three months after we reserved it as roof tiles became virtually unavailable. Of course there was also a very important issue for all home buyers at the time relating to the Stamp Duty Holiday that first ended on 31st March 2021 then at the spring statement it was extended to 30th June 2022. (Yes we missed that too). But what can I say about the company and more importantly its staff, because any company is only as good at its staff as they are the company. Of course our initial contact was with Natasha the sales representative, then later in the process we had contact with lots of other staff. Lorraine who took over from Natasha in sales when Natasha went on Maternity Leave was good too, however, I would suggest that at times we were misled by these very important, "Customer Facing", staff in respect to timescales, however, I would add that they could only give us the information they had at the time and I would state that your customers need to plan too. Concise, up to date information is of paramount importance to home buyers. New Home Buyers more so. Anyway, I hope I have not missed anyone out but I would like to thank all of the following people for the help they gave along the way. Amy, the Sales Director who put herself out to visit us on our first afternoon and made the difficult decision to give us the keys even though we could not complete that day as the House Builders Certificate was still not available. Tom and his gardening crew who were still laying turf as we moved in. (He also personally helped to get our washing machine plumbed in). I understand the Tom is now head of Customer Services. Not a job for everyone but Tom does it well. The various site managers currently, Chris and John and their help to get the various contractors in to undertake the snagging required. We have now been at 37 Parish Close for nearly a year now and the house and garden is everything we ever wanted in a great village. Everyone says that moving home is the most stressful thing that anyone does in their life. It certainly was for us, but we just knew it was going to be worth it. It was. The move will be our last as we are now 71 and 69 years old respectively. Thank you Sunningdale House for everything. Overall you were just great. Ian Brown

Horrible experience starting from a pushy, bullying sales manager. Poor finish of the property. Minor problems are to be expected in new builds but these were major inexcusable problems like mislabelling of meters. Had to send several emails to get issues sorted. The management team as useful as a chocolate teapot with a lackadaisical approach to anything raised with them. Certainly wouldnt recommend them as a developer.
