At Specialist Vehicles we operate an open, transparent, and honest relationship, with all our customers. This lady has been a valued customer of ours for over 6 years and has never had any reason to doubt our integrity. Contrary to this review we did not strip and rebuild the engine. We charged our customer just over an hour to diagnose two faults with the vehicle, a rear light fault, and a rattle from the engine area. We repaired the light fault and diagnosed a clutch and flywheel for the clutch operational noise and the invoice reflects just that. We cannot comment on the third party claims of a mis-diagnosis of the clutch and flywheel.

Very dishonest garage . My girlfriend took her car here as a rattling sound was coming from the engine. The garage held the car for ten days claiming they had taken the engine apart to diagnose the problem. They then claimed the problem was the dual flywheel mass and clutch that needed replacing and quoted 1700 for the works to be completed. As this point I got involved and stated the quote was to high , can you tell them to get the engine together I'll get it done cheaper at another gargage. They then proceeded to try and charge her to put the engine back together which they didn't inform they was taken apart at first. When I went and picked the car up and took it to another garage they Investigated the problem and told us the problem was not the flywheel and clutch though was an alternator pulley that needed replacing which only amounted to 265. The work has been done and the car is running smooth again . Very ashamed at the audacity of this garage trying to rip off who they thought must of been a naive single lady .

I took my car to Specialist Service Centre for an MOT and a Service, I got a very warm welcome, they ran through the likely cost and advised me they would call me if anything further was required. My car was ready upon my arrival washed, vacuumed, and looking splendid. I highly recommend this company , professional, transparent and a pleasure to deal with.
