I remember when I went to biz town in 4th grade a few years ago. I remember hating it more than anything else, and I wasnt the only one either. The workers and schools would give kids awful jobs that didnt match their tests and personalities, causing them to sit, bored out of their mind suffering instead of learning and having fun. Not to mention the volunteers and workers would praise different kids and leave the others to fend for themselves. I remember a few kids, including me would get bored and abandoned their job and walk around instead, hiding from the volunteers and workers because it was just simply that painful to sit and do your job. I can tell you I learned nothing that day other then how to hate work. It was a horrible experience and I would never want to go again.
I personally had such a good time!! Try working at the cafe! They have a real soda fountain, real food, and the workers sure so kind! I wish they had more supplies that were given because u ran out of customers orders and they got slightly upset.
I had my son go here for biz town 1 week summer camp. I was going to pay for an additional week for him to attend just to find out that junior achievement makes kids introduce themselves by name and pronouns ie he him she her non binary what not kids don't need all this confusion. Why are they pushing this on kids.
