I would give this company a zero star if I could. I hope google does not remove this review because it accurately reflects what has transpired. This is the first review I have ever written, which is a measure of the level of disappointment I have experienced today with this company. I feel like I just got scammed by this company. Ken seemed great in the beginning. I showed him exact pictures of what I wanted and he promised me he would be doing exactly that...we even went through many texts and conversations reviewing details of the type, shape, and color of balloons. He insisted I pay cash for the full amount ahead of time and made me drop of money to him at his house (he works out of his house!). I thought this was unusual but I gave him the benefit of doubt. Next thing, he doesnt pick up phone, and when I did finally reach him shortly before event, he acted like he had no idea who I was and what event I was referring to the job as if was too small for him ($400!) and he was too busy to remember who I was. It was like I was talking to a different person from before the payment and after. He just said dont worry about it, Ill be there. So I was skeptical but then thought, why would he intentionally screw me over. Well, he delivered nothing of what we had discussed. For the bubble-themed party, instead of round clear and blue balloons that look like bubbles and round large balloons with confetti (which he charged $20 a piece for and promised me that this is what I was getting), he showed up at the banquet hall and dropped of balloon arrangements that looked like the stock balloon arrangements from a grocery store, and left in 20 min and would not respond to any of my calls. This is highly unprofessional and concerning. I trusted him. But he set the wrong tone for what was supposed to be a celebration of my sons first year of life. Ken, Since you wont respond to my calls, I have to express my thoughts in this review. I hope you realize that what you have done is simply immoral and mean. At the end, they are just balloons.. but its the principle of intentionally taking advantage of another human being. Considering this is supposedly your passion and your business is called Makin memories, I would think it would be your mission to make your customers happy and their event memorable. For those considering their services, at the very least, dont pay in full until the event.
Hi Holly so sorry you had a bad experience. We try n strive to make are customers happy . But once in a while we are human and make mistakes. we did offer you a credit on future decorations which was declined. all balloon number rentals are 1 day rental and are due back . but if you needed a rental for more than one day just let us know in advance and that could of been arranged so she could of enjoyed the beautiful number we made for her as seen in the picture you posted . PLEASE READ BEFORE CALLING THIS COMPANY. I absolutely DO NOT recommend this company. Extremely unprofessional. I placed an order for my daughter's 6th birthday at the beginning of the week for this weekend. $120 for balloons and they got one of the colors wrong, even after having to ask for an invoice with the correct colors (blue and purple). Sure enough, we wake up this morning to see the wrong colors (pink and purple). I obviously wasn't thrilled but mistakes happen and even though it doesn't have my daughter's favorite color, I was sure she would still be excited. As a small business owner myself I expected at least some sort of apology. The gentleman that I spoke with was completely unprofessional. He took no responsibility, blamed the "workers" who set it up and then instead of offering at least a small refund (at least for the balloons that I didn't order), he told me that they would come and take it away, which obviously would have crushed my daughter since she had already seen it. They made a mistake, and all they had to do was attempt to make it right, even just a little, but instead he chose to be defensive and rude, and therefore lost a first-time customer. I'm sure there are plenty of other balloon display companies that will not only actually get your order right, but will be professional and make it right when they do make a mistake. UPDATE: they came and took the display last night in the middle of the night (without notifying us).. so we had it for ONE day. Today is my daughter's actual birthday and she was devastated that it was gone this morning. $120 for one day of the wrong balloons. He now keeps hanging up in my husband. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. It's a scam.
Awesome customer service! Got my order in a week before my sons graduation, and was highly satisfied. Definitely some quality work! I look forward to using them again!

Fantastic business. Great communication and suggestions before finalizing our balloon creation. Amazing green camo-colored birthday balloon arch and number appeared in the wee hours of the morning for my sons 12th birthday. Bigger and nicer than I expected. Extra special appreciation for Ken running back over to our house multiple times to make sure it stayed perfect as long as it could despite the hot and windy weather!! Definitely recommend.
EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE... I Called about ordering balloons with delivery the guy that answered the phone ask why, would I sell balloons and deliver to you do not want us to decorate? Well, maybe because it's a service that the website clearly says you provide, my question to him is why not? If I am only trying to purchase 100 balloons, & need them to be delivered! He hung up on me... And I'm sure he has called Id because he sent me to voicemail when I called back!!! How Rude!
