Ameriprise is a mess of a company. They currently let employees have access to secure data that shouldn't be available and tried sweeping it under the rug.

The website does not list all of the departments for mailing documents. The building do not have a dropoff box if customers can drop off their paperwork instead of fax of mailing. The security officer couldn't accept the documents at the desk. The lack of options to send documents when one does not have a fax is ridiculous!

I have worked here for 1.5 years in IT. I had very good experience with working environment and friendly people. Very well organized with health center/gym, cafeteria, silent rooms, meeting rooms.

This place is quite the pleasure to work at! They know how to keep their information confidential, their security is sound while not being over-the-top, and they have a nice break room. My only complaint is that I wish the printers weren't consistently having problem and my computer doesn't force me to restart because it can't print the documents I'm working on for some odd reason. Otherwise, I'd recommend this place for work to anyone who likes working at a place like this and also recommend it to potential clients in need of some financial help! (Although some of the other reviews don't like this place for various reasons. I really don't know what to think.)

I have been trying to transfer my funds out of Ameriprise since the middle of February. Papers were filed for each account and done exactly the same. One account transferred, the one with the least amount in it. Since then I have been given the run around. Wrong papers filed (same as the one that transferred), mail came back wrong address (my address hasnt changed in 5 years and other correspondence was coming to me), wrong email address (same one they are sending my statements too which I receive) and it goes on and on. I am giving until the end of May then I am going to file a complaint. In the meantime they have been collecting exorbiant fees on my accounts. May be a fine company to invest in (if they will listen to you) but hell to get your money from them! I would NEVER recommend.
