Laura Daughtrey - Were so sorry to hear about your terrible experience that you had with us. I believe we had contacted you a few times to get this issue resolved and didn't hear back. I think someone in our office finally got ahold of you, and had you come down for a partial refund on your service due to a typo on your bill. We are very sorry that this issue occurred, but i am glad to hear that it was taken care of in a positive manner. Also i read that someone had quoted you $40.00 for labor on replacing your wiper blades, again i do apologize for that information given to you as to we don't change for replacing those, we just charge for the wipers themselves. Again we are so sorry about your one star experience and we hope that we left the situation in a positive manner and hope to see you back soon. I once had a tire fixed there because it was close to my work. The people were friendly and did it for free. Several months later when I'm living in Vero, I take my car there to get serviced since they made such a good first impression. The initial service was $96.32 which is ridiculous since all they did was change the oil and wash my car, everything else was just "inspected". The guy gave me a long list of things that needed to be done and naming off all these outrageous prices. $40 to change my windshield wipers?! I think not. I'm taking that list and going to St. Lucie Battery and Tire!!
Over priced, misleading, long wait, front desk very rude: Took my 2015 Jaguar F Type for service: - they quoted 450 $ for a battery change - I took it to a local battery shop and paid 250 $ - they claimed that the engine belts and serpentine belt are cracked and need to be changed while they were changed few months ago - it took 4 hours for them to change the spark plugs (3 h) and air filters (1h) most of that time my car was sitting on the scale front hood open and no mechanic working on it - I guess they were running the clock - four hours sitting in a chair waiting, from desk assistants chit chatting personal stories and politics - after three hours I asked for an update but they were very annoyed by me... After paying on my way out I said to the front desk assistant thank you she hardly replied: Ahaaa !!!
Had brake warning notice on my BMW. Determined it was a sensor problem. Brakes were fine per Chad, a very competent and friendly individual. Dons is the place to go for a fair and professional auto experience.
Alex Roda Its very disappointing to see your 1-star review. The situation is not what you have described for other potential customers to see. This vehicle in question was brought to us after several people had worked on it, we were told several internal parts had either been replaced or upgraded and it was purchased used by your company to resell. Never once was this vehicle told to you that we couldnt trigger a issue or that the vehicle was perfectly fine. The vehicle was getting cam correlation codes from the point of drop off, we cleared the codes and test drove the vehicle without tearing down the engine to confirm that all of the prior work done was correct. There was no way to confirm the cause of the fault. You were informed all of this and insisted that we drive the vehicle more to find the cause. On the last test drive the engine stopped running, we towed it back to the shop and confirmed that the engine had locked up. This was also explained to you, and you authorized us to disassemble the engine and identify the cause. Upon inspection we found many bolts which were either mismatch or stripped and that the work done prior to us was improper, causing the timing chain to jump. This was the cause of the engine seizure, and the setting of the cam codes. The only thing which couldve been done at this time was to replace the cylinder head, due to bent valves and the timing components. You chose not to have the work done and we reassembled the engine as much as possible due to the prior damage. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM BUSINESS!!!!!!!!!! I brought my 2011 Volkswagen GTI that was throwing randomly a P0341 code(Camshaft position sensor) The car was running and driving perfectly, only issue when that code popped out was a little missfire. Once the code was erased with a simple diagnostic tool, the car was running and driving back to normal. After leaving the car there for 2 days they called me stating they weren't able to trigger the issue and told me that the car was perfectly fine. I went to pick up my car, test drove around the block and immediately the code popped up again, this made me think that the car was never checked in the first place but still had a charge for $135.00 diagnostic. After bringing the car back to them, they decided to look further into it. A week went by and I received an email from Kevin(Service Manger:)) stating that the engine sized while idling in their parking lot. I was shocked to say the least, as the car was brought in running perfectly as I said before. Kevin told me the car needed a new head and was quoted at: $6,634.88 I decline and asked just reassemble my car because I wanted to take it someplace else. The prize I payed to get my car reassemble was $1,600.00 I had tow my car away from that scam place and payed $250 because it was not running anymore, even thought was brought in perfectly running and NO sign of catastrophic engine failure. Apparently their "parking lot" seized the engine. Once I received my car, on the front passenger seat there was a zipper bag full of engine bolts and screws(at least 20) as shown in the pictures attached below. Not only they gave me back a non running vehicle but they weren't even able to put it back together the way it was brought in to them. After paying them a total of $1,740.00 I had to sell my car as mechanic special and lost thousands of dollars. STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS!!!!!!!!!!!
