I bought my prom dress in January with hopes of having a good selection. The selection wasnt very big. Once I took my dress home I put in my closet in the bag and did not touch it again until the day of prom on May 4th. On May 4th I reached down to grab something and both arms on my dress completely tore off. While taking pictures we also noticed a tear in the rear. I was extremely disappointed considering the price of the dress I was expecting better quality. I had to pin together my dress because there was nothing else we could do.

BROOKE, was awesome! She was kind and attentive. I was a walk-in ( with 4 bridesmaids and my mom) after a not so great experience and she helped me find several beautiful dresses and had everything to show me the opportunity I had with the dresses I already loved so much!

Stephanie and her team are incredible! She worked with me at my trial to get the look I wanted and made it happen on my wedding day. She did such a good job with the make-up two of my bridesmaids changed their minds and got their make-up done too. I highly recommend her!

Ill preface this review by saying I DID end up buying my wedding dress here by some stroke of luck, but the experience I had and overall vibe of this shop are way below satisfactory. Im honestly surprised I even walked out with anything because I had such poor interactions with the employees at Stephanies. I drove 3 hours to KC to check out a few bridal shops - Stephanies was the last stop on my list and we were running a bit late but I called to let them know that. They claim you need an hour and a half for your appointment but I havent spent more than 45 mins at any bridal shop and the selection here is slim to begin with. When we arrived, the lady at the front desk greeted us with hardly any interest or eye contact. She told us it would be a few minutes & then without explanation, starts walking over to another group and leaves us stranded in the lobby. Another employee walks by and asks if weve been helped - to which the lady from the front desk says that another girl will be our consultant. No direction to look through dresses, take a seat, etc.... very confusing. We look through all the dresses before the girl even gets to us. The worst part is, she is the THIRD employee there to ask me questions about my wedding and what style Im looking for. It is incredibly annoying to have to repeat yourself when youve already communicated this information to them - and I even filled out the online questionnaire that they email before your appointment. Anyways, Im not sure how any of that information helped her because she didnt pull a single dress for me. I showed her the only one I liked and she took it to the dressing room. As I waited for her to pick out some similar styles, she stood with another employee and was gossiping - right in front of me! It was extremely unprofessional. The whole time I tried the dress on, she stood by the side offering little advice or help. She even wandered off for long moments and seemed generally disinterested, which annoyed me even more. It took me a while to decide on the dress because I had such a bad feeling about the place. Nonetheless, my wedding is coming up so soon that I really needed to find a dress that day and ended up going with it. Im happy with the dress, but really disappointed in the treatment I received at Stephanies.
