Decor was dated and not of great quality. In our room there was evidence of a leak down one of the walls and heavy stains on the carpet. Otherwise the bathroom was clean and bedding fresh and clean. For the price, we were happy. Ideally situated opposite the train station and a short walk from the centre of town. Staff were polite and helpful. Can't comment on food as we did use the restaurant.

Nice staff and comfortable beds but the rooms are a bit stuffy.

The lift didnt work, which was not a great start. The room itself is ok, a bit dated, but you cant open the windows and no way of controlling the temperature of the room. I had a flood light shining into my room in the evening (used to light up the outside of the hotel). The breakfast was mediocre (cheap greasy spoon), toast was more bread than toast, watery scrambled eggs and very vinegary poached eggs.
