Very poor management. Fairstead was recently contracted to manage the Chocolate Factory lofts, Brooklyn NY. For months we've been complaining of inadequate temperatures in our apartment (62*F with 4 space heaters running) as a result of significant drafts through windows and poor heating. What's worse, is management is aware that we have a 14m old child and still no attempt to rectify the problem. The building's manager, Kerry Kramer sent 2 porters and a few window companies by our residence to assess the situation, but we have not received any update on a plan to resolve the problem. NY housing authority notified and action is pending. Also, water leaking from roof into apartment for weeks. Ceiling is beginning to bow from water above. Mr Kramer was made aware of the problem and once again sent a porter to assess the situation who agreed the ceiling was leaking and left. Ceiling continues to worsen and still no word on when a repair will take place.We are aware of others in the building with heating and/or water leaks who state they have been complaining, but problems remain unaddressed. We are model tenants, pay a premium for rent monthly and treated as though we are an inconvenience to management. If safety, comfort and a responsive management company are important factors in choosing your next rental property, you should avoid the Chocolate Factory Lofts I will gladly update this review when our issues are resolved

5 Stars because Billy M makes it happen at 1115 Broadway. Anytime we had a problem, Billy would take care of it so quickly. Pretty much everyone on the property loves him. His work ethic and good-natured humor always win me and my wife Caitlin over. Best Super in NYC!!!

Originally left a 1 star review because management was completely incompetent. Especially Edward and Ieshia. Changing now to 5 stars because they had enough sense to bring Eva on board who has turned everything around. I am now extending my lease solely because of her being able to help me with matters the others were unable to. Thanks to Billy the super as well!

The worst place in the world to work. Their racist and the staff is lazy. They also have very rude tenants who they allow to disrespect you and they do nothing but let them antagonize you and threaten you as well NEVER WOULD I RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE
