Nicholas, I'm sorry you were unhappy with your purchase. Unfortunately there is no way for us to ensure that every device works which Is why we price merchandise accordingly and provide an opportunity for our customers to inspect merchandise prior to purchase. I believe I'm treating all of our customer fairly, ethically and make every effort to clearly communicate how estates sales work since we are not selling new merchandise. As per our policy since weve been in business and as stated on our ads and at a sign at the checkout table directly in front of the cash register, we do not offer refunds or exchanges, no exceptions. At an estate sale, all items are sold as is. Since we hold so many sales and there are numerous items at each sale, we are physically unable to test everything. I agree with your statement to confirm what you are purchasing at an estate sale works, which is why we suggest to all customers that they try items before they purchase. Also, we do not offer refunds once the item leaves the property due to the fact that we are unsure of what happens to the item once it leaves our possession. The item was being sold for a friend and the proceedings would go directly to them. As glamorous as it sounds, the estate sale industry isnt cutthroat, its a service we provide to our clients and try to be honest and forthcoming with our customers. Again, Im truly sorry you had a poor experience with us. -Greg Marra, owner

In all due respect, theres a right way of doing business and a wrong way. I understand the policy of no refunds, but when you buy something with the notion that the device operates effectively and it doesnt, then that is voidable. I went back and kindly asked for a refund, and he chose not too (while I also corroborated that the cameras did not work from a local camera business who notarized). Furthermore, he told me the day before he got the two cameras from his friend for free, so he wasnt losing any money over the transaction. Owning a small business is very competitive, something that I hold very closely to me, but you cannot take advantage of people, regardless of how cutthroat the industry is. I could never go to another one of their estate sales and trust that whatever I am buying is legitimate. If you do go, I would confirm that whatever you are purchasing works prior to leaving, regardless of whether they say it works or they say they think it works.
