(update at end) Started here on September 28th, CNC machinist, set up Machinist second shift 3pm-11:30pm we have a good team working nights/2nd shift. Working 11 years in this industry had a couple different places I had employees at other places that used to work here when this place was over off of powerline. And all of my work associates that used to work at this place had nothing but bad things to say about this place of employment. Due to the distasteful talk about this place and it's image that other people had portrayed onto me I had passed up three different job interviews to go work at other places in the past. But as you know 2020 was a bad year all in all I finally gave this place a shot because they were offering me a job second shift with the right pay. So I have them bored to formulate my own opinion. And so far I like the team I like the place and I don't know what these other guys were talking about maybe it has something to do with the fact that they worked during the day shift with people on that shift and I work nights but so far I'm actually liking the place and my team we all get along great and it's a wonderful place to work for in my opinion after being here over 90 days. (Update) so I figured out what the other guys were talking about this place is very disorganized and management thinks they know what they're doing the place is not a machine shop it is a sheet metal mindset mentality machining CNC is treated as secondary. With that said newer management and new HR has been hired since they've been in office I have been discriminated against and treated in differently first time in my life. Since I've been there since September almost everybody I worked with has quit. The place has very negative vibes in a stigma about it that I'm starting to see from what these other people were talking about my previous statement the building is nice it's a nice place to work, but the people are the problem there's a lack of communication there's no feeling of being a part of something doesn't feel like family and sometimes you just want to work and go home and not deal with it make that check. It's the first place that I've ever been at where I never felt like I was a part of something. As far as where I fit in I'm an excellent setup Machinist for CNC milling I feel like my talents were squandered. I think I've only set up maybe three machines and follow through with a half set up that was already started since I've been there September 28th today's date is May 8th. They have 9-axis machines but don't use the full capabilities of them all the other machines are three Axis or 4-axis because they're horizontal and they're still not using the full capabilities of those machines. This place needs to hire somebody to go in there and show them actually how to run the place. I left there due to discrimination issues some people might like it some people have worked there for 15-20 years but they're quiet and I keep to themselves I'm not that type of person I like to be a part of a team I like to understand the product that we're building and manufacturing so we can improve on process and produce the quantity at demand with an efficient time with an efficient process. There's nothing efficient about this place. There just burning money and underpaying there employees. There was some resemblance of recognition through a plaque system and meetings, but where it truly shines as profit sharing and bonuses which they lack. The only reason why I stayed was because I was able to get overtime due to the lack of employees because they're all quitting. I gladly put this place behind me didn't think twice and don't have any regrets
No senior management skills, they do not know how to speak to their employees, they speak to them as they were their children, raising their voices and Disrespectful. Like the saying " you want respect, give respect! I wouldn't work with this company even if they paid me over $70,000, Peacefulness and tranquility has no price and this company has nothing of that
