Beautiful view, house was clean, & owner was very helpful. Upkeep of house is a little rough in places. Board on back deck was rotted with caution sign over it. Carpet torn up. House was smaller the expected. Master bathroom has really weird door layout as far as locks to other bedroom. Driveway & parking was rough for three cars. Couldnt turn around in driveway. Owner lives under where you stay. The view of Grandfathers Mountain is amazing from back deck tho

Ben and Stacey's cozy basement apartment is exactly what you need if youre looking to stay in Portland. Not only was it extremely clean and welcoming, but the location cant get any better than where theyre at! Its perfect walking distance to cute coffee shops, bars, and restaurants. I truly enjoyed my stay over there and no doubt will book them again for my next visit to Portland. Thank you so much Ben and Stacey for providing such an ideal getaway location! Also, the coffee was drool worthy.
