Not the best of experiences travelling with LNER. Travelled on a service which should have been 10 carriages but was only 5, this meant that there was no reservations and it was first come first served for seating. Train was busy, doesnt help that services to Leeds used to be every half hour from London but they were every hour when I travelled on a Saturday. Staff were friendly enough onboard the train, but I did overhear one saying to another that this happens on a regular basis and that this train wasnt as busy as what some can be like when short formed.
Had to abort my journey as a result of a LNER train breaking down and causing cancellations. Was told I would receive s full refund within 28 days. After waiting 28 days I had not received a refund so contacted customer service. I was then told that they could not refund now since it has been more than 28 days since the incident.
