Knowledgeable and really friendly staff! They gave us detailed maps of the best sites to see the sandhill cranes- including places anywhere from 1-60 miles away. We had a great time there.

I was excited to visit and walk the trails as a nice break on a cross-country drive, but dogs are not welcome on the trails, even on leash and even on a weekday when I was the only non-employee on the property. Presumably the center would have merited more stars but, being unable to enter, I wouldnt know. I suggest it be a bit more open to canine guests.
