Hi Jakqueline, thanks for sharing your experience with us. We are so glad to hear you enjoyed the free entry pop-up market, but a bit shocked to hear of your dissatisfaction with our food, which is quite honestly what we are known for, even more so than our wines. Would you mind disclosing with us what it was you ordered that you were not happy with so I can check with our Chefs to see what happened? I would also like to inform you that an 18% gratuity is typically only automatically applied to servers attending to groups of 6 or more people. On the day of the pop-up event we extended this to parties of all sizes. If you visit us again with 5 people or less on a regular day of business you'll be able to tip how you'd like, though we do recommend the standard 15% as servers are essential workers and we are still experiencing a pandemic. We hope to see you again for some more wine tasting, Cheers!

It was a fun experience. We went for brunch for my daughters birthday. But the food was horrible honestly. Pretty and great for pictures but definitely not tasty. Plus our server wasnt helpful at all(Darcy). Which I feel might be because she knows she automatically get 18% gratuity so she probably didnt care to give attentive service. But the busser lady was very helpful. They had a pop up market which was also cool. It was a nice experience though. Would never go to eat there again though. But would go for wine tasting.
This was my first time attending a Winery so I have nothing to compare it to but the entire stuff was so friendly and helpful. I like that this winery allows you you to put a card in the machine and select your own wine. Ive heard of some Winerys that choose the wine that you taste but this location had tons of options. The scenery was also nice and the charcuterie board was delicious! There in house wines were fantastic! My favorite was the black cherry! I forgot our servers name but she did an amazing job helping our party of 11! Id definitely come back to this location!
Celebrations are what we do best, & we hope to spend many more together with you - Cheers Gina!

Had my daughters baptism party here, food was delicious , the blueberry wine is amazing, I think my family bought at least 5 bottles throughout the course of the party , will definitely be coming here again for brunch and any parties in the future!
Hello Anne, we are so sorry to hear that our wine-on-tap machines caused you confusion and a less than perfect experience. The self-serve wine tasting experience is what you choose to make of it based on your wine tasting goals, your budget, and your financial preference; making it a customized experience. The beauty of the self-selection process is that you get to choose! How it works: You can load any amount of money onto a tasting card. It could be $2, $15 (our suggested starting point), $50, or even $100+... whatever amount it is you want to spend on your tasting experience. The 53 wines available for sampling in our wine-on-tap machines each come in 3 different pour sizes: 1 ounce, 3 ounces, and 5 ounces. Each ounce comes at a different price depending on the price of that bottle of wine. As of today our least expensive sample comes in at $2.00 for a 1 ounce pour and our most expensive sample comes in at $7.00 for a 1 ounce pour. How much money you've loaded onto your card, what size pour you choose to select, and what wine you are sampling dictates how many and what wines you are able to try. With a $15 spending limit, you could have sampled 7 different wines with a $2 pour each if your goal was to try as many wines as possible. However, if your goal was to sample some of our most expensive wines (as you pointed out) you could have chosen to get 2 samples of wines that sell for over $50 a bottle at $7 per 1 ounce pour. We hope this helps clarify the tasting process here at Island Grove Wine Company at Formosa Gardens. On your next visit, one of our managers would be more than happy to help assist you further. Cheers!

What a rip off. They sell you a $15 card to sample 6 wines. They don't tell you the samples could cost up to $7 .meaning you only get 2 samples.
